Vocabulary Review
Last week we shared an update about our latest feature, Vocabulary Review. Based on feedback from language learners like you, we have reimagined the way you study words and phrases in Jiveworld.
With this new workflow, you'll revisit your saved vocabulary in story order, in the sentence where you heard it. As with with the rest of Jiveworld, it's an ears-first experience. You first identify the vocabulary words, hidden behind purple redaction bars, and then think about what they mean in context. You'll still find it a challenge, which is what you need to improve, but you'll be learning in context, the same way you'll encounter it in the real world.

Learning language like a baby could help adults learn a second language easier
Learning is what you did in school: memorizing vocabulary lists and rules of grammar... Acquisition, on the other hand, is picking up a second language in more or less the same way you learned your first: by listening to and engaging with people speaking the language.
